How to make a lemon-ginger-turmeric shot?

We suggest you in these cold winter times to give your day a head start with a turmeric shot! Plus, it takes just 5 ingredients and 15 minutes of your time! Ingredients for a half-litre of healthy turmeric shots:

Ingredients

  • 3 lemons
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 7 cm ginger root
  • 1 tbsp Sweetener like honey or agave
  • a bit of pepper

There are different ways on how to make the lemon-ginger-turmeric shot:

  1. With a juicer: This is the simplest version, just peel all ingredients and run it through your juicer
  2. With a blender: You can peel and add all ingredients in a blender, afterwards press them through some cloth like muslin to get rid of the pulp.
  3. With a hand press: Press the oranges and lemon with hand and chop the ginger very small. Press through a muslin cloth and add honey and turmeric powder to the final juice.
